But wait there’s more! No not steak knives, but our one and only (at this stage) Miss Lucy’s vibrant rooftop bar and pizzeria is also part of the property.

So, hold on to your hats people – we are on the lookout for an exceptional person to lead our passionate and fun team at JUCY Snooze Queenstown. The Snooze Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring the team are delivering an exceptional JUCY experience to every JUCY customer that walks through the door at our amazing pod hotel and rooftop restaurant, all the while inspiring and managing your JUCY crew to be the best they can be through your extraordinary leadership and mentoring skills.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of this jaw-dropping JUCY Snooze and Miss Lucy’s bar and restaurant – including commercial accountability for budgeting and financial management, planning, organising and directing all services. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring revenue is maximised and the dream team delivers a standard of service and presentation that exceeds customer’s needs and expectations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, mentor and motivate team to achieve collective objectives ensuring excellence in service delivery
  • Ensure appropriate training, development and succession planning activities are in place
  • Deliver agreed business plan and strategic objectives within annual budget
  • Resolve customer complaints and comments that have been escalated in a timely and professional manner
  • Oversee the delivery of maintenance, supplies, renovations and furnishings
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders and colleagues through effective networking and development of high value relationships

To get through the doors, you’ll also need:

  • Proven leadership skills managing a successful team
  • Hotel Management experience or even better both Bar and Hotel Management experience
  • Proven customer experience management – we look forward to hearing your stories to exhibit your skills
